Founded in 1994 by the prestigious doctor-psychiatrist Dr. Francisco-José de Linares von Schmiterlöw, Clínica El Seranil is a center specialized in the treatment of psychosis in all its aspects. Currently the Medical Department is exercised by his son, Dr. Andrés de Linares Tuduri, continuing the legacy of the oldest sagas of medical-psychiatrists in the world that began in 1848 with Dr. Antonio de Linares Enríquez. During his time in the Andalusian Health Service, he was the youngest coordinator in all of Andalusia to occupy a Unit such as the Mental Health Hospitalization of the Virgen de la Victoria University Clinical Hospital in Malaga. In 2019, he took over the Medical Management of the Clínica el Seranil Mental Health Hospital, contributing his experience in the SAS years and applying modern psychiatric intervention methods that have strengthened and increased the prestige and fame of the Hospital.
