We are in the province of Malaga, about 20 kilometers east of the capital, in the coastal area of Benajarafe, located by the sea. We combine the most rigorous medical assistance with the tranquility of the place and the comfort of a residence. We intend to adapt the patient to normality with the least risks and in the safest way, preventing his reactions to the daily situations that he will inevitably have to face once discharged. 

The Center has different types of rooms, dining room, waiting rooms, offices, nursing, activity room, therapy room, common areas, swimming pool, terraces to the sea, which make the Hospital a differentiating place.

Facilities

The Center has shared, double and single rooms. We try that its comfortable environment does not resemble those of a Traditional Hospital Center but rather like residential rooms. All rooms have air conditioning and television.

Property

El Seranil has a large farm about 45 minutes from the clinic where the resident has the opportunity to go on mountain bike excursions, go hiking or receive horse riding and equine therapy classes with qualified personnel and horses from the farm itself. 

One more opportunity for El Seranil patients to enjoy relaxing days outdoors in contact with nature. Equine therapy is that therapy in which horses are used as a natural instrument for rehabilitation, education and re-education of people with special needs and with some type of disability. This therapy improves the quality of life and personal abilities, maximizing them.

At Clínica El Seranil we have been applying equine therapy with a wide variety of patients since our beginnings thanks to our own resources, to which groups of patients are taken several times a week, being pioneers in this field in the territory national.
