Building
We are located in the province of Malaga, about 20 kilometers east of the capital, in the coastal area of Benajarafe, right next to the sea. We combine the most rigorous medical assistance with the tranquility of the location and the comfort of a residence. We aim to adapt the patient to normality with the least risks and in the safest way, preventing their reactions to daily situations they will inevitably face once discharged.
The Center has different types of rooms, dining room, waiting rooms, offices, infirmary, activity room, therapy room, common areas, swimming pool, terraces facing the sea, which make the Hospital a differentiating place.
Facilities
The Center has shared, double, and single rooms. We try to ensure that their comfortable environment does not resemble that of a Traditional Hospital Center but rather residential rooms. All rooms have air conditioning and television.
Country Estate
El Seranil has a large estate about 45 minutes from the clinic where the resident has the opportunity to go mountain biking, hiking, or receive horse riding and equine therapy classes with qualified personnel and horses from the estate itself. One more opportunity for El Seranil patients to enjoy relaxed days outdoors in contact with nature.
Equine therapy is a therapy in which horses are used as a natural instrument for rehabilitation, education, and re-education of people with special needs and with some type of disability. This therapy improves the quality of life and personal capabilities, maximizing them.
At Clínica El Seranil we have been applying equine therapy with a wide variety of patients since our beginnings thanks to the resources we have, to which groups of patients are taken several times a week, being pioneers in this field nationwide.
