Entry rules
It is important that you are aware that this Clinic is a psychiatric hospitalization center of a mixed and semi-open nature in which most psychiatric illnesses are treated. The following information is also of interest to you.
Admission will be made by our medical staff. This will clarify any possible doubts regarding the clinical aspects of admission (treatment plan, diagnosis, prognosis,...) and will prepare the Clinical History, which will contain the affiliation data of the patient and his family. A photograph of the patient will be attached to it, which will be taken at the time of admission.
The doctor must deliver the reports and analyzes belonging to the patient, as well as communicate the largest possible number of contact telephone numbers (landlines and mobiles) for emergencies. Otherwise we are not responsible for important information.
Once the entry is formalized, all personal belongings (money, credit cards, mobile phones, lighters,...) will be delivered to Reception. We recommend that valuables be delivered either to family members or to Reception so that they can be deposited in the safe, otherwise the Center will not be responsible for them. Likewise, please do not bring compact-discs, radio-cassettes or other musical devices, as they may disturb the rest of the hospitalized patients.
It is advisable that, in addition to underwear and street clothes, you bring personal hygiene items (comb, toothbrush, etc.). The clothes and said objects will be marked with the patient's name and then taken to their room or deposited in the General Clothes Store, where they will be delivered according to the needs, since this way they will have greater control of their personal hygiene.</ p>
It is usual to open, in the name of the patient, a money account with which, in addition to tobacco (which is purchased and managed by the Center), an amount can be assigned for out-of-pocket expenses (this amount will not be greater than 3 € / day and may, in any case, be reduced or withdrawn by the responsible doctor).
Each patient will be assigned a responsible psychiatrist, who will be the main person in charge of the patient's treatment and clinical problems, and the interlocutor with the family. You can phone him at the times indicated at Reception, and hold interviews with him, by appointment.
In any case, the patient will be attended to regularly by a psychologist, social worker and general practitioner, who can also go for information.
Normally phone calls from relatives or visitors are not allowed during the first week of admission, unless indicated by the psychiatrist responsible for the patient. In any case, before visiting or calling the patient, you should consult it in advance.
Within the therapeutic process that we develop at the Clinic, patients are allowed to leave the Center when their responsible psychiatrist sees fit. Likewise, even patients who do not have an exit permit can sometimes go outside the Center with its staff to carry out various activities, including horse riding, aerobics, mountain bike rides, excursions to different places (depending on allow the weather conditions) being informed and authorized by the relatives to sign these regulations.
The visiting hours for patients will be prior authorization by their psychiatrist. In general and for information purposes, these visits could be from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays between 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We recommend that family members do not give the patient money directly, but rather give it to our staff so that they can send it to the patient. For hygienic-sanitary reasons, no food or drinks will be brought.
The rooms, in order to achieve greater therapeutic integration, will be shared with other patients who, if possible, will have similar characteristics in terms of their clinical condition (except imponderables).
The use of mobile phones is not allowed during the time of entry.
Family, friends and visitors are requested to collaborate at all times with the Center's staff, heeding their advice, information and instructions. This will allow us to get the most care possible for the patient.
The undersigned authorizes the execution of medical practices and auxiliary procedures, in addition to those now provided for or different from them, whether they are due to currently unforeseen situations or not, and that said professionals may consider necessary or convenient.</ p>
The administration of those medications that may be considered necessary or convenient is also consented, understanding that this mayIt may involve certain risks of different sizes.
